Nocturnes is an ongoing series of paintings (2024 - present) that explore form and stillness through darkness. Works from this series were featured in Blue Black: New Works by Helen Hawley, Paula Schuette Kraemer & Anna Moisiadis at Gallery Marzen, Madison, WI (May 8 – July 18, 2025). Blue Black highlighted the artists’ shared history in printmaking and their exploration of the poetic potential of color and process.
